Process Engineer

Zenith People have recently partnered with our client who are a manufacturer searching for forward-thinking Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become key member of the Engineering Team within a High Volume, Fast-Moving Manufacturing plan. The main purpose of the role being to ensure that machinery & equipment in in working order involving carrying out preventative & reactive hands-on maintenance on machinery, leading projects, and supporting the facility with your technical knowledge. Duties & Responsibilities * Own the performance of all production machinery—plan, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot to keep operations smooth and efficient. * Coordinate small projects to enhance manufacturing processes, introduce new equipment, and scale production * Train production staff on new systems, processes, and safety protocols to build a culture of excellence. Qualifications: * HNC/HND in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or NVQ Level 3 Experience: * 5+ years in a high-volume/FMCG manufacturing environment Additional Knowledge & Experience * * Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles * Hands on experience carrying out Mechanical or Electrical preventative & reactive maintenance on a wide range of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment throughout the plant. * Expertise in lean manufacturing, quality control, and continuous improvement * Strong command of health & safety regulations and risk management * Excellent communicator and team collaborator If you have the desired experience and are interested in being considered for this role, click Apply Now
